A Chilean visual artist based in Croatia, known for her exploration of human emotions through painting and sculpture. A Graphic Design graduate, she has expanded her artistic practice through techniques such as jewelry-making, mosaics, and various forms of printmaking, always driven by the desire to shape the "dreams and desires of the soul" through materiality. This approach has defined her career as a versatile creator deeply committed to her artistic vision.
In her current work, the heart stands as a central symbol, a narrative thread connecting different mediums and techniques. More than a physical motif, it becomes a powerful metaphor to address the complexities of human experience. Through this symbol, Consuelo weaves together the personal and the collective, the tangible and the spiritual, creating deeply evocative visual compositions. In parallel, she develops series that explore themes such as displacement, belonging, and identity, translating intangible emotions into meaningful imagery.
Her work has been showcased in notable solo and group exhibitions in Croatia and other European cities, including Madrid, Venice, and Monaco. An active member of HULULK (Croatian Association of Visual Artists and Art Critics), she has been recognized by Chile’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for her significant contributions to cultural development and her efforts in promoting Chilean creative excellence on the global stage.
